National Eye Institute Video
What’s it like to see with Mac Degen? All eyes see differently depending on the progress of the disease, images become more and more distorted: double, cloudy, wavy, vision, sometimes things jump in and out of view, a shadow at the center of the vision. It’s difficult to identify faces and colors may start to look faded.
For instance, I can’t tell the difference between black and navy socks unless the light is very bright. Lucky for me I don’t care much for socks.
I have included this video from the National Eye Institute to give viewers an idea of the challenges someone with Mad Degen experiences. Remember, each person will see things differently.
