Macular Degeneration and Me

Low Vision and High Hope

Life’s Paths

Today’s message comes from Lisa Petrilli, Chief Executive Officer of C-Level Strategies who is passionate about visionary leadership.  Lisa is also passionate about creating a vision for your whole life.  I’ve been reading Lisa’s articles for some time now and each has a great life (and leadership) message.  With Lisa’s kind permission, the one I’m sharing today is called How to Discover Your True Path in Life – twelve critical lessons for you to explore.

The life path ideas resonated with me because I hear from so many people who are struggling with the low vision issues and feel the life they had is gone forever.  My outlook, and the one you will read here, is that yes, life changes, but it’s still YOUR life and YOUR path to discover.

All twelve lessons are valuable, but for those of you with a new diagnosis, you might wish to read # 1, 4, and 6 first.  Take your time, absorb the message, keep it in your mind as you go through your day.  There are practical ways to apply the messages.   TIP:  Keep a Positive Attitude.

  1. This is a great post, Pep — Lisa’s article is spot-on and I can see how her ideas could help anyone whose experienced a life-altering event or diagnosis. Thanks for making me aware of Lisa’s work and blog.
