A Good Read
Many people are very concerned that, as mac degen or other low vision disease progresses reading will become impossible. In my last article I wrote about my Kindle electronic reader. Today I will share stories from shut-ins who are using the public library’s audiobook program. Although this story is about a library in Vancouver, most public libraries offer the same or similar programs. Most even have CD players to go along with the CD.
These lovely personal stories prove that ‘where there’s a will (to read), there’s a way’,
My thanks to BCLocal for permission to use this story.
